In comparison, BYD’s rival model boasts 49 kWh. This gives the Zeekr 9X a significant advantage in energy storage.
The battery also offers extremely fast recharging. With a 900V system and 6C technology, it can charge from 20% to 80% in just nine minutes.
The estimated electric range is around 380 km, allowing long journeys with zero emissions and practicality in urban use.
Supercar performance with 2.0 turbo engine and three electrics
The hybrid propulsion system combines a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 275 horsepower and three electric motors with silicon carbide technology.
Together, they deliver 1,381 horsepower, equivalent to three V12 combustion engines. The top speed is 240 km/h.
The model also includesย artificial intelligenceย suspension and a 48V active stabilizer bar.
The system automatically adapts the vehicle’s behavior according to the type of terrain, with specific modes for snow, mud, stones and sand.
Reinforced structure and Level 3 driving autonomy
Constructed with 91% high-strength steel and aluminum, the Zeekr 9X boasts a torsional rigidity of 30,700 lb-ft per degree.
The body has ten reinforced structures, designed to withstand high levels of stress.
The top-of-the-line version comes equipped with the G-Pilot H9 assistance system, which offers Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities.
This allows the car to take over some of the driving duties, although the driver must still remain attentive.
The Zeekr 9X will initially launch in the Chinese market during the third quarter of this year.
The model is expected to strengthen Geely’s presence in the electrified luxury SUV segment, offering high performance, advanced technology and long range.
