Toyota Announces Mixed Q3 Results Amid New Model Launches and EV Expansion

Toyota Motor Corporation navigated a challenging financial quarter while advancing its product lineup and electric vehicle (EV) strategy in 2025. The automaker reported a 28% year-over-year decline in Q3 operating profit, citing lower global vehicle sales of 7 million units (down 4% YoY) for the first nine months of FY2025 . Meanwhile, the all-new Crown Estate debuted in Japan, rounding out the Crown series with four models now available, including a premium “Mature Active Cabin” variant .

The iconic Prius also received updates for 2025, introducing geo-fencing technology and enhanced standard equipment to boost efficiency and convenience . Additionally, Toyota teased several upcoming models, including the Mini Land Cruiser, Corolla Cross, and a refreshed RAV4, signaling a busy year for new releases .
