Hyundai reveals teaser of new Ioniq6N electric sports car ahead of official debut

Hyundai has chosen the traditional Goodwood Festival of Speed in England, between July 10 and 13, as the stage for the world premiere of the IONIQ 6 N. This is the second 100% electric model from the sports sub-brand N, this time with the silhouette of a sedan .

One of the advances of the IONIQ 6 N in relation to the IONIQ 5 N is the suspension with an all-new geometry, tailored for the sedan.

The model features a lower roll center and greater suspension caster angles, which improves dynamic behavior, including steering response and high-speed stability.

The system also features ECS (electronic shock absorbers with stroke detection), which ensure a balance between comfort and precision.

VIRTUAL GEARSHIFT AND SPORTS SOUND HAVE EVOLVED

Another highlight is the evolution of the N e-shift and N Active Sound+ systems, now available in all driving modes.

The technology simulates gear changes with short ratios, inspired by motorsport, and features the new N Ambient Shift Light feature, a lighting that indicates the ideal moment for each change.

OPTIMIZED AND CUSTOMIZABLE DRIFT

For the more daring, the new generation of N Drift Optimizer allows you to configure the car’s behavior in drifting maneuvers with even more precision, adapting the control according to the driver’s skill level.

The images released in advance show a sedan with an imposing look, flared fenders, lightweight wheels and a large “swan neck” rear spoiler, inspired by racing cars. The entire set was developed with a focus on aerodynamic efficiency and stability at high speeds.

During the Goodwood Festival, the model will be displayed alongside other products from the Hyundai N range on a dedicated stand.

The space will feature racing simulators, photo booths and interactive activations, as well as VIP access to the grandstand for those who complete the challenges proposed by the brand.

The sports car arrives with the mission of reinforcing the pillars of N: “Corner Rascal” (dominance on curves), “Racetrack Capability” (track capability) and “Everyday Sports Car” (sports car for daily use).
